RAVtech, Inc., founded in 1997, quickly earned international technical acclaim by successfully developing highly customized and technically sophisticated bearings for constructors and teams at the highest levels of motorsport. Since then, RAVTech has added nearly frictionless magnetic seals and other highly technical components to our range of motorsport products. RAVtech's designs and products have been successfully used by World Championship-winning Formula 1 and Champ Car teams.

RAVtech is also renowned for having co-developed the patented Bearing Load Information System (BLIS). BLIS is a device used in turbomachinery and other rotating equipment applications that continuously monitors the magnitude and direction of the forces applied to bearings. Combined with the ability to continuously monitor real time bearing operating temperatures and vibration signatures, BLIS helps rotating equipment engineers better understand what is happening inside their equipment. BLIS is capable of assisting in the planning of the equipment's overhaul and has the ability to automatically shut down rotating equipment prior to catastrophic failure. This capability not only reduces the risk of expensive component damage and downtime but, most importantly, helps prevent personal injury that could result from a catastrophic failure.
